Pricing questions
Starter has no setup fee - your site goes live on a MakingWaves subdomain with the standard theme. On Pro (£199) and Studio (£499) the one-time fee covers the real build work: custom domain and DNS, your branding and theme, a guided onboarding session to get your DJs connected, and submitting your branded listener app to the App Store and Google Play.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and only pay the difference in setup and monthly fees. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
DJs on your station get their own MakingWaves accounts at a discounted rate (currently 20% off Now Playing). They pay for their own DJ tools subscription — your station fee covers the station-level features (site, apps, scheduling, admin).
No long-term contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time, and annual plans get you 2 months free. The setup fee is non-refundable once your station site goes live, but the monthly subscription can be paused or cancelled with 30 days notice.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Setup fees can be paid by invoice for Studio tier customers.
